Agathi Georgiou-Graham - Owner
Agathi Georgiou-Graham is an event planner, business owner and consultant, who thrives on bringing her client’s visions to life. After spending nearly a decade in the event planning industry, Agathi knows first hand what it takes to execute a flawless event.
“Hustle and Heart,” Agathi’s people-first approach and whatever-it-takes philosophy is why she enjoys such a loyal following among her staff, vendors, and clients.
After starting her first company, Agathi and Co, right out of college in 2011, Agathi has went on to pioneer the boutique event venue business in Rochester, New York. She opened her first event venue, The Arbor Loft Downtown, in 2016 and went on to open Arbor at the Port in 2018.
Agathi holds a Bachelors of Arts in Fashion Merchandising from Buffalo State, and a Masters in Communication from SUNY Brockport.
Agathi is her happiest when she is at home with her chunky puggle, Bruno, and her loving husband, Zach. Yes, we listed Bruno before Zach - that dog has her whole heart!
LAINEY SCHMIDT - Event coordinator (offsite)
Lainey joined our team toward the end of 2018 and is in love with her position as our off-site event planner! As a new bride herself, she understands the beauty and importance of having your dream wedding day and wants to bring that joy to all of the brides she works with. She chose an intimate ceremony on a beach in Hawaii and Arbor at the Port as her reception space. She looks forward to helping you figure out what your dream wedding looks like!
Lainey first started working in events in 2011 back in Illinois, where she grew up. She moved to Rochester in early 2016 and it quickly became her home. After getting acclimated to Rochester on her own, she met her now husband, Eric. They have made West Irondequoit their home along with their two cats, Ziggy and Sora and are beginning their happily ever after!
ERIKA CRANE - Arbor Venues Event Coordinator/ social media manager
Erika attended SUNY Brockport where she earned her Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Dual Elementary Teaching Certifications. Her career path has taken her far from her degree, but it did not take long for her to transition from elementary school teacher to event planner and we could not be happier! After managing events for a local catering company, Erika joined the Agathi & Co team in November of 2018. Erika LOVES love and organization, making her the perfect addition!
A breath of fresh air wherever she goes, Erika brings such an excited and positive, yet calm and collected energy to any event. She treats every client like family and believes no detail is too big or too small when it comes to creating the best day ever. When she isn’t styling an instagram post or blogging, you’ll definitely find Erika curled up on the couch with her husband, Austin, and her sweet boxers, Reggi and Luca.
Laura Bliss - Arbor venues Event Coordinator
Laura has been with Agathi & Co’s Arbor Venues team since the beginning, even being a part of naming the Arbor Loft in 2016. Jumping right in to the event world after college, she enjoys being thrown a challenge and thinking on her feet.
“Creating lasting relationships with clients that ensure a positive planning experience is my goal” Making sure that her couples feel taken care of no matter what is something she strives for. Tackling everything from sales and logistics to event design and dress bustling, Laura can handle it all.
Taking time to snowboard and hike (and snuggle her kitten, Ranger) keeps her busy season balanced. You may even find her on the dance floor at the end of a successful event!
Zachary Graham - Director of Operations and business Development
As director of Operations and Business Development, Zach is responsible for developing products and implementing all marketing and sales plans for both Agathi & Co as well as Arbor Venues.
After 10+ years of fine-dining, hotel, and country club experience, Zach opened his first business, Makers Gallery and Studio in 2015. He then went on to co-own Arbor Venues and Agathi & Co. with his beautiful wife Agathi.
