From The Ground Fashion Show Greentopia Festival 2014

This year’s highly stylized production was inspired by the vivid imagery of the 1871 novel: Through the Looking Glass, written by literary artist Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland). Perspective of Time intends to test the form of ideas, space, time, and the concept of altering the perspective of our relationship within the Rochester community.

From The Ground: Perspective of Time re-envisioned the High Falls parking garage into a Mad Hatter’s visual “underland” with birdcages, feathered wings, mushrooms, butterflies, towering heels, and a center tea party table runway.

From The Ground also made the celebration of creativity more fulfilling this year with the creation of our Taste & Toast.

From 5:30- 7pm, our guests enjoyed food and drink at our "Flavor Garden". The goal was to bring our guests together to enjoy the rhythm of local music, the enticing aroma of Rochester’s notable food trucks and the blooming zest of the city’s favorite brews and spirits.

At 7:00 p.m. our guests headed across the street and anticipated the start of the big show to begin promptly at 7:30 p.m.
